A three month driving ban was imposed on a 25-year-old man last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court for a speeding offence.
Daniel Noel Beck, Mourneview Park, Rathfriland, was also fined £100 for the offence and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
For not having a driving licence he was fined £100.
The court heard he was travelling at 56mph in a 30mph zone on the Dromore Road, Banbridge, on December 13 last year.
A barrister, representing the defendant, said he was currently disqualified and he accepted he had been speeding on this occasion.
