Q&A with Rachel Lindsay
What do you like doing on your day off?
I really enjoy spending time with my tiny twin cousins (3). Their adorable little personalities make me laugh so much. My sister (14) is my best friend I always get a funny story from hanging out with her.
If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and why?

Hide AdThe Beechlawn Hotel’s bacon and beef burger is by far my favourite meal, because the atmosphere is relaxed.
What has been your proudest moment?
When I was in second year I placed second out of 27 in a poetry competition. Although it’s not my most recent achievement, it was the first time I had ever performed in front of anyone. I was going to pull out at the last minute because I was so nervous. This was a real breakthrough for me as it gave me the confidence to do more.
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
In 2006 I found out that my Daddy wasn’t going to survive cancer. I knew already that he had been ill but I never thought that he wouldn’t make it. When my mum told me that he wasn’t going to make it, I had never cried so much in my life.
How would you describe your taste in clothes?
I tend to go for greens, blue and light pinks. I love my jeans but my going out style is preppy.
What would you do if you won a million pounds?

Hide AdI would buy the money making company and make more money - only joking. I would like to set up a theatre company In Northern Ireland for children in low income family’s.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
When I was in primary school I had a water drinking contest in Italy with a friend, and won. However, when we were on the ski lift, I really had to go to the toilet, there were no toilets in sight so I just went. It was so awkward.
What music do you like?
I like classical music because It really helps me to work well, plus It makes me feel like a ballerina. I also enjoy music from musicals particularly Wicked and Legally Blonde.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?

Hide AdMy best ever holiday was on my 10th Birthday when I went to Disney World. We were there for three weeks, I loved going to the Magic Kingdom, sea world and Universal Studios. It’s every girl’s dream holiday.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
My main ambition is to become an actress.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
My acting inspiration Bronagh Waugh. It was great to see a Belfast actress play such a convincing role. She’s amazing, and really someone to aspire too.
