Pupils shown ‘jar of tar’ during No Smoking visit
Jackie said: “It is our aim to encourage young people not to start smoking.
“It is much better that they adopt a healthy lifestyle early, rather than have to battle the consequences of serious lung disorder later in life.”

Hide AdAs part of her talk, Jackie showed pupils a display panel containing 30 ingredients in cigarettes, including a glass of tar, which is a major cancer causing factor.
And she pulled no punches by making the pupils aware that there are over 4,000 chemicals in cigarettes.
Mr Blair said: “We are delighted that our schools awareness programme is proving so popular.
“The ‘No Smoking’ campaign is one of the major iniatives being undertaken by the British Lung Foundation.
The Breathe Easy team will continue to push ahead vigorously with their schools project.
The Causeway team will be making a return visit to Dunseverick Primary School in March.
