Kyla Mulholland, owner of The Den, which offers child care and Michaela Chambers, activities co-ordinator, Knockagh Rise, have devised a varied timetable of events including chair exercise class, arts and crafts, balloon tennis and a singing and dancing session. Also planned are a head and shoulders exercise class and Halloween activities.
Kyla said: "We can already see relationships starting to form and the hugs that the children share with residents when they say goodbye are beautiful."
Michaela said: "Our residents are so excited each morning to see the children and breakfast time is full of chatter about what we will be doing when the children visit. We would like to thank all of the staff at Knockagh Rise, the residents and their families as well as the parents and staff at The Den for fully supporting this very ambitious project."
