MLAs open new offices
In a joint statement issued ahead of the formal opening of their new constituency offices this week, the local Assembly Members said: “In Lagan Valley, the UUP had one of the best election results in recent history, increasing the UUP representation from the constituency at Stormont from zero to two, which was no mean feat.
“Much of this tremendous accomplishment was due to the unwavering support from the Lagan Valley UUP Association members.

“We have every confidence that these two offices will form the focal points of Ulster Unionism in Lisburn, reminding people that we are here working for them.”
Mr Butler’s office at 59 Bridge Street was officially opened on Wednesday, September 21, while Mrs Palmer’s office at 106 Longstone Street was due to be formally opened today (Friday, September 23).
