'Mise Éire' screening
THE Eoghan Rua Cultural Committee will be hosting a special screening on Saturday, November 6.
George Morrison’s film Mise ire (‘My Ireland’) has held an iconic status in Irish cultural history since its release in 1960.
The film holds a special place in Eoghan Rua folklore, as it was first screened by the club back in 1960’s in St Malachy's Hall.
The screening will be held on Saturday, November 6 in the clubrooms at 8.30pm. The evening will start with a short talk about the film.
