Mallusk fire being treated as deliberate
A grass fire at Trench Lane in Mallusk at the weekend was started deliberately, the NI Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed.
The blaze was reported on Sunday evening (June 5).
A Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “NIFRS received a call at 7:33pm to a report of a fire in the Trench Lane area of Mallusk.
“One fire appliance from Glengormley Fire Station was deployed to the scene of a grass fire in the area.

Hide Ad“Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service finished at the scene at 8:13pm and the fire is being treated as deliberate.”
Following the blaze, Mallusk Community Action Group has urged local residents to be vigilant.
