Lunch with the Ambassador
Ambassador His Excellency Peter Szabadhegy and His Excellency Istvan Palffy, Hungarian Ambassador to Ireland were joined at the reception Ken Belshaw, Honorary Consul for Hungary in Northern Ireland.
The event was hosted by Mr Belshaw at his residence in Blackheath House, Coleraine.

Hide AdThe aim of the visit was to provide local export businesses across Causeway Coast and Glens an opportunity to connect with Hungarian representatives and to hear firsthand from local businessman Gareth Wilson of Wilson Agriculture about doing business in Hungary.
In his presentation Ambassador Péter Szabadhegy explained Hungary’s successful economic performance and gave a brief overview of the country’s excellent logistic infrastructure as well as labour force capabilities.
He added that the Government has introduced incentives for maintaining sustainable and balanced economic growth and to facilitate a business friendly environment.
During the lunch participants shared their experiences regarding Hungary and discussed possible ways of further cooperation between Northern Ireland and Hungary.
