Lough Neagh Rescue springs into action after flight emergency declared
It is understood the London bound flight left from George Best Belfast City Airport before a loud bang was heard on board and the plane had to be diverted.
The aircraft, containing 108 passengers, made the emergency landing safely.

Hide AdLough Neagh Rescue crews from Ardboe, Kinnego and Antrim were called out by the Coastguard at around 8.30pm.
The charity’s new first responder vehicle also made its first outing in reaction to the emergency.
A spokesperson for Belfast International Airport has since said ambulance, police and fire crews also attended but didn’t have to take any action as the flight landed safely.
