Laganview Enterprise host charity coffee morning
Between staff and volunteers from LaganView, The Resurgam Trust and the surrounding community groups, plus donations from local businesses, guests will be entertained with a cuppa accompanied with various delights by way of scones, tray bakes and tantalising cakes.
A raffle will also take place on the day so there is an opportunity for everyone who has donated to be in with a chance of winning a prize.

Hide AdAccording to statistics one in three of us will get cancer and it’s the toughest thing most of us will ever face. However, Macmillan Cancer is able to provide practical, medical and financial support to families and to push for better cancer care. What better way to spend your Friday morning than with a cuppa and a delight in the knowledge that your kind donation will be going towards a very worthwhile cause?
The Mayor of Lisburn, Alderman William Leathem, speaking about the event, said: “It is great to see two local community based organisations’ joining together to raise money for the very worthwhile cause, Macmillan Cancer. The dedication and the work of Macmillan Cancer is to be commended as it works to improve the care for those loved ones who suffer from cancer.
“It is very encouraging that this charity is being supported right across the Lisburn area and I look forward to meeting those who can take the time to attend this event in LaganView Enterprise Centre.”
If you are about the vicinity on September 28 please call in and bring a friend and support this very worthwhile event.
Any local business wishing to support this coffee morning please do not hesitate to get in contact with Joanne in LaganView on 028 9267 0055. All donations will be kindly received.
