Kitten survives 15-mile journey trapped in BMW engine
Adorable Bob, who is about eight weeks old, was trapped in a BMW engine and could easily have perished in the extraordinary incident.
The stricken animal was handed into Millburn Veterinary Practice by the driver of the car and a male passenger last week - and now needs a loving home.

"As they drove they kept hearing this crying, whining noise. They thought maybe it was one of those toys you get in McDonald's.
"They drove for fifteen miles and when they stopped the car they discovered the kitten stuck in the engine. It had somehow climbed in there."
The tiny black and white kitten could easily have been smothered with the heat of the engine or been crushed had it fallen onto the road.

Jenny added: "When it came in it was really really dirty, all covered in oil and a bit shaken.
"But we gave it a bath and a hot water bottle and he's as warm as toast now.
"We've named him Bob. He's a wee cutie and now he just needs a good home."
If you are the owner of the kitten or think you could give it a good home call Jenny or Barbara at Millburn Veterinary Practice on 028 703 44842.
