Kicked and spat at his ex-partner
David McIntosh of Ashvale Crescent, Glasgow, admitted assaulting a female on July 11 this year and criminal damage to a door on July 13.
The court heard that on July 13 police were tasked to the home of the victim.

Hide AdThere, she said the defendant, her ex-partner, had been aggressive with her, asking about her previous partners.
When she refused to answer, she said, he punched a glass door, causing damage, and head-butted the door, causing a crack.
The injured party also told police that two days previously McIntosh had been at her home and had assaulted her.
He had prodded her on the side of the chest, she said, kicked her on the thigh, spat at her and put his head to her head in an aggressive manner.
She was holding a young child at the time.

Hide AdDistrict Judge Liam McNally said that even though the defendant had no record what he had heard of the evidence indicated a custodial sentence.
He added that he needed to see a full background to the matter to see if the sentence should be immediate or otherwise suspended.
The judge adjourned the case until November 10 to obtain a pre-sentence report.
