Great achievement and anticipation highlighted
Raised achievement, improved provision, enhanced opportunities, a certain future as a core school in the area and a planned new build extension to accommodation were the key features. (His speech is reported below)
Chief Guest on the occasion was NEELB Chief Executive Mr Shane McCurdy who recounted a humorous tale from his genealogical research which provided the context for his challenge to the young people to take full advantage of every opportunity presented to them in education and into the future.

Hide AdChair of Governors Mr Desmond Fulton extended a warm welcome to all pupils, staff, governors, parents and friends of the school present. He congratulated the staff, pupils and parents on standards and successes achieved and heralded clear intentions for the future of educational provision and achievement in Ballymoney High.
An excellent and well enjoyed afternoon concluded with refreshments for all in the school canteen.
