Gobbins may help boost Causeway
In a bid to capitalise on the new Islandmagee attraction, both Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI are considering a range of marketing opportunities, including promoting Carrickfergus as the new entrance to the Causeway.
It is hoped this rebranding will encourage visitors to spend more time along the coast, visiting the villages of Ballygally, Carnlough, Cushendun and Cushendall, as well as other locations.

The footage will be included in a Northern Ireland feature within the KLM digital magazine IFly, which is emailed out four times a year to seven million subscribers.
The video will also be shown on the in-flight entertainment system worldwide and on YouTube.
Cllr Billy Ashe, Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Council said: “The Gobbins will be one of Northern Ireland’s signature tourism projects which will attract people from all over the world.”
