Gleenkeen band in Big Lottery windfall

Glenkeen Fife And Drum Band has received a £10,000 grant from Big Lottery Fund’s Awards for All programme.
It is part of a Big Lottery Fund grants roll out of £761,601 to 86 groups across Northern Ireland.

Hide AdThe band is using the £10,000 grant to make improvements to the hall it uses in Aghadowey, so it can be used for a wider range of activities by the community.
Joanne McDowell, Big Lottery Fund Director, said: “The Awards for All programme funds health, education, environment and community projects that help people bring about positive change in their lives, improve health and well-being, develop skills and create safer communities.”
