Get your arty side out for oral hygiene
The competition has been organised by Dunmurry Dental Practice in conjunction with local charity Stepping Stones NI and will see pupils from St Joseph’s Primary School in Lisburn and children who are patients at the leading practice compete to have their design incorporated into a poster to promote the benefits of oral health for children.
Taking place until 19 June, National Smile Month is the world’s largest annual event to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth and the theme of the competition is ‘Give a smile to everyone you meet every day.’

Hide AdThe winning posters will be displayed in the Stepping Stones NI Avenue Café, Dunmurry Dental Practice and in the school. Entries can be drawn, painted or made using any materials you can gather and should promote the message ‘two minutes brushing, twice a day’.
Entries should be submitted to teachers at St Joseph’s Primary School or delivered to Dunmurry Dental Practice and winners will be announced on Friday 13 June.
Stepping Stones NI provides adults with learning difficulties / disabilities with the opportunity to access accredited training towards gaining employment.
