'˜Generous donation' to RAFA after cathedral sit-out
Carrickfergus RAF Association received a £550 donation following the '˜Black Santa' charity sit-out on the steps of St Anne's Cathedral in Belfast.
Wg Cdr Noel Williams, who represented Carrickfergus RAFA branch at the Good Samaritans Service on Sunday, was presented with a cheque by special guest, comedian Tim McGarry of ‘Give my Head Peace’ fame.
The Very Rev Stephen Forde, formerly of Larne and who was installed as thew new dean of Belfast last month, conducted the service.

Hide AdMr Williams said RAFA was “delighted to receive such a generous donation towards our welfare work”.
Cheques totalling over £126,000 raised by the public were distributed to charities after the annual appeal.
