Further planting at wood
Volunteers gathered at the Jubilee Wood last Tuesday for the ‘One Million Trees in One Day’ scheme.
The project is a charitable, cross-border, community and environmental initiative which will plant a million young native trees at many different sites across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The new additions follow a large number of saplings already planted at the wood in recent weeks, most recently 200 apple trees on February 23.
