From Lisburn's Wallace Park to a festival in France for Ulster Scots Juvenile Pipe Band
Pipe Major Andy McGregor and the Ulster-Scots Agency Juvenile Pipe Band performed in the park’s bandstand on Sunday afternoon (July 31).
The free concerts are held at the bandstand each Sunday as part of the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council ‘Park Life’ summer programme.

Hide AdOne concert-goer said of Sunday’s performance: “The band played a great selection of foot-tapping tunes including ‘I love a lassie’ and ‘Highland Cathedral’. “
Yesterday (Thursday) the Juvenile Pipe band departed for France.
There its members will spend 10 days taking part in the ‘Festival Interceltique de Lorient’. The festival, which celebrates Celtic culture, is attended by around 700,000 people from all over the world.
It features around 200 events and shows and 5,000 performers on the bill.
