Frew makes urgent calls for footway to make area '˜safer for pedestrians'
Paul Frew believes there is much need for a complete footway on the Fenaghy Road between Cullybackey and the Galgorm Resort.
Frew raised his concerns that the existing walkway was to short to provide a safe path for pesdestrians, which stops short of the busy entrance to the popular Galgorm Resort & Spa.

Hide AdFrew stated: “ There are many projects sitting on a long list of minor works schemes competing for prioritisation, in fact I have been fighting for many of them for a long time.
“What we are talking about here is a scheme proposal to extend the existing footway from the factory and Graveyard to the entrance of Galgorm Resort, a length of approximately 370metres.
“It makes perfect since to complete this work and it will make the whole area much safer for pedestrians. I urge the Minister and the Northern Division to prioritise this work.”
