For trial on series of charges

Hugo Miguel Rodrigues Duarte, Montague Street, Portadown, appeared last Wednesday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.
The first set of charges allege that on June 15 last year he attempted to cause grievous bodily harm to a female, made a threat to kill her, damaged a mirror, caused unnecessary suffering to a dog and threatened to destroy property.

Hide AdDuarte is further charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a female between April 1 and April 30 last year.
It is also alleged that he damaged a phone and a heater.
Duarte, who is a serving prisoner, was remanded in custody to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on May 10.
