Supporting the charity marathon local Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson said: “This is a lovely tribute to a dad, father in law and uncle who meant so much to each of them and all in aid of the Southern Area Hospice which cared so much for Trevor during the final few weeks of his life.
“Fundraising like this is absolutely essential to the running of the entirely voluntary Hospice service.
“It is an important community service of care for so many local people and their families.

“I think it’s truly amazing that people want to give back to a service which has helped their family and I wish them all the best and encourage people to generously support them and in doing so their local Hospice.”
