If approved the new store is expected to add an extra 800 square metres to the current premises.
And it is hoped the new store may employ an extra four staff and attract around 750 customers per day.
The application was submitted on July 4 this year and is deemed a ‘major application’.
It is currently under consultation with various bodies including NI Water and the NI Environment Agency as well as the Rivers Agency.
