Dungannon man pleads guilty to fifth conviction for drug possession
Pre-sentence reports have been ordered for a Dungannon man who pleaded guilty to a fifth conviction for drug possession.
The case of John Bell, 34, from Creevelough Road, was heard at Dungannon Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
He was charged with possessing a Class B controlled drug on December 9 last year.

Hide AdHis defence solicitor said the case was complicated by the fact that this was Bell’s fifth such conviction, the last one carrying a suspended sentence.
The case was adjourned by District Judge John Meehan for one week, with Bell, who was absent from the court hearing due to a medical appointment, ordered to appear or else a bench warrant would be issued for his arrest.
