Four small pieces of cannabis resin were found and a bag of herbal cannabis was discovered behind the batteries of a remote control. Some was also found in the mother’s bedroom.
Carlisle said it was for his own personal use and ‘everything in the house is mine’.
He told police he had drugs all around the house and sometimes forgot where they were. He had bought them for £60 and thought it was a good deal.
