Did not realise he was not insured to drive vehicle
Jamie Downey (24), Gilpin Mews, Lurgan, was fined £250 and given six points for driving without insurance on April 11 this year.
The court heard he was stopped around 1am while driving in Charles Street, Lurgan, and asked to produce his insurance. On April 16 he produced a certificate of insurance which showed he was a named driver for another vehicle.

Mr Downey added she phoned her son to come and collect the car. He was acting on the instigation of his mother and was oblivious to the fact he was not insured, he said.
