Woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Cookstown stabbing

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the incident in the Church Street area of the town on Sunday, which was attended by the NI Air Ambulance.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "At approximately 8am a 42-year-old man had been found stabbed at the rear of a property in the Cookstown area.

Hide Ad"He had suffered stab wounds to both thighs and chest. The man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
"A 42-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence. She has since been released on bail pending further police enquiries
Detectives would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and who may have witnessed what happened. Please call 101, quoting reference 413 of 11/04/21.
