Teens found with alcohol on disco busses sent to alcohol awareness programme
Neighbourhood Policing Team Officers delivered the talk, which was held at the Hub.
The teenagers attended with their parents or guardians.
In a picture post on Facebook, police said the day went well.

Hide Ad"Cookstown NPT officers delivered an alcohol awareness programme to seven young people who attended the Hub with their parents/guardians," they explained.
"This was as a result of being found with alcohol on board while attending local teenage discos, not a great way to spend your Saturday!
"Each person attending was issued with a Community Resolution Notice and on speaking with one parent they found the programme very worthwhile and fulfilling.
"This initiative was set up in partnership with our local PCSP in a bid to deal with underage drinking and all the dangers that come along with it. #Keeping People Safe"

Hide AdMeanwhile officers are also urging those considering using drugs to consider the implciations, not just on their health.
Along with a fake display of amny illegal substances look like, they posted: "Folks, these are just a few display boxes with different types of drugs that are available out there.
"Don't worry they aren't real. But remember drugs ruin your health, families and you end up with a criminal record. No job!
