Firefighters tasked to deliberate blazes in Ballyclare

One fire appliance from Ballyclare Fire Station responded to reports of gorse on fire in the area at 9.16pm on Saturday, April 24.
A NIFRS spokesperson said: “Firefighters used four beaters to extinguish the fire. The incident was dealt with by 9.32pm and the cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate ignition.”

Hide AdMeanwhile, yesterday (Sunday), firefighters were called to reports of five seats of fire in two separate fields at 5.46pm.
Two fire appliances from Ballyclare station attended the scene.
A NIFRS spokesperson said: “Firefighters used eight beaters to extinguish the fire. The incident was dealt with by 6.24pm and the cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate ignition.”
