Concerns raised over road safety
A site meeting has been held to raise road safety concerns at Ballydown Primary School.
Sydney Anderson MLA, Cllrs Junior McCrum and Jonathan Buckley and representatives from road service attended the recent meeting with vice princpal Trevor Russell.
“We had been contacted by a parent who had become very concerned regarding heavy traffic congestion and the safety of parents and pupils must be taken into account,” said Mr Anderson.
Cllr McCrum added: “The traffic situation at Ballydown has become a concern for many. It needs to be addressed, taking into account the increased pupil attendance.”
