Commonwealth Baton comes to Causeway Coast
Ryan Cecil carried the Commonwealth Baton as it left Ballycastle headed for Rathlin Island with school children cheering it on. The baton had already been carried across the famous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and had paid a visit to the Causeway Stones before making its way to Ballycastle.
The baton contains a sealed message from Queen Elizabeth II that will be read out at the opening ceremony in Glasgow.
