Children’s Heartbeat Trust presentation for Rotarians
Cathy Dalton, a family support worker with the charity, was guest speaker at a recent meeting of the club.
She explained the work of the trust which focuses on supporting children and young people in Northern Ireland and their families who are coping with heart disease.

Hide AdIn a comprehensive presentation, Cathy pointed out that as well as providing family support and information networks, the Children’s Heartbeat Trust helps purchase medical equipment and resources for the Clark Clinic (at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children) and provides accommodation for parents of seriously ill children being treated there.
In addition, the trust helps fund research into heart disease in children and campaigns for improved services in this area of medical care.
Commending Cathy on the valuable work done locally, Rotarian Jim Kelso thanked her for an excellent presentation and her passion for the work of the trust.
