Charity to benefit from A Touch of Tartan
The school will play host to a concert organised by the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association’s Northern Ireland Branch in aid of a charity close to its President, Winston Pinkerton’s heart.
Winston, himself a cancer patient, nominated Friends of the Cancer Centre as his president’s charity for 2015.

Billed as promising a great evening of entertainment, the charity concert will feature Ravara Pipe Band, Ulster-Scots Agency Juvenile Pipe Bands, Ian Burrows and Kenny Qua (on Scottish small-pipes, guitar and whistles) and the Michelle Johnston School of Highland Dancers.
Tickets (£10) are available online at www.rspbani.org or from the Branch Office, 02892670445, email [email protected]. All proceeds will go to Friends of the Cancer Centre.
