The council is considering the cost of installing CCTV in a bid to stop vandalism and damage to graves and headstones.
The council had received five complaints since March about memorial works being struck by vehicles.

A three-month trial was conducted by the council closing the vehicle access gate each afternoon from 4pm.
With council staff covering cemeteries at Magheralin, Donaghcloney, Shankill and Lynastown it was proposed the council examine the cost of CCTV as there could not always be a physical presence at the site.
