Busy summer for RNLI

Great weather meant Larne RNLI volunteers had one of their busiest summers.
The lifeboat was called out 11 times, including a rescue in June when a man was lifted unconscious from the water.
Northern Ireland lifeboat calls totalled 138 in June alone – a 20 per cent increase on the previous summer. Overall in Ireland RNLI lifeboats launched 571 times in the season.
