Breached order by sending messages
Ronald Matthew, Lakelands, Craigavon, admitted two charges of sending messages he was prohibited from doing when he appeared last Friday at the local magistrates’ court.
For each of the two offences, which happened on June 22 and July 16 this year, he was fined £125. He was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

There was a civil restraining order in place.
A solicitor representing Matthew said that he had spent a night in custody and now realised the seriousness of breaching this type of order.
He explained that he had been trying to establish contact with his daughter and there were now ongoing family proceedings in the matter.
