Braid hosts cultural fusion extravaganza
Held at Ballymena North Centre, the recent performances were officially opened by Alderman William McNeilly, Deputy Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough.
The evening saw performances from local and regional performers, including the Nine Glens School of Irish Dance, South Asian Dance Academy, Polish Strawberries, Los Dramaticos Musicians, Karma School of Dance, reggae band Magwere, and a stunning finale with the Artsekta Chinese Lion Dance.

Hide AdSupported by the Executive Office, through Mid and East Antrim Borough Council’s Good Relations Programme, these events have been organised in conjunction with the Inter Ethnic Forum (Mid and East Antrim) and Artsekta.
Ald McNeilly said afterwards: “It is great to see so many people from all areas of the world gathered in Ballymena North to Celebrate Diversity in Mid and East Antrim.”
