Ballymena recognised as ‘Safe Town’
Ballymena has been formally recognised as a safe town for people living with domestic abuse at the fourth annual Onus Awards.
Deputy Mayor Cllr James McClean accepted the accolade on behalf of the Borough.
The award is given in recognition of a range of local initiatives which send out a message that perpetrators of abuse will be challenged in a ‘Safe Town’.
