A PPS prosecutor asked the court for a four week adjournment for a file update.
The court heard Williams is living at a bail address in Portrush and signs bail at Coleraine police station.
His solicitor asked for him to be excused from the next court appearance on 3 July as he has no car.
However, District Judge Mr Copeland reminded him of the serious nature of the charges and directed that he appear in person.
