Armed robbery at shopping centre
At around 2.10pm, a man entered a shop armed with a knife, carrying a plastic bag.
He demanded an employee to put money from the till into the bag. It is believed that the man made off with a sum of cash from the shopping centre to King Street Chapel car park.

Hide AdNo-one was injured in the incident but the employee was left shaken by the ordeal.
The man is described as young, between 5’8” and 5’10” tall, and of slim build. He was wearing a white scarf over his face, a white hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone who saw this man in the area of Magherafelt around 2.10pm or who knows anything about this incident is asked to contact CID in Magherafelt on 0845 600 8000.
