14th jazz festival is hailed a success
The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Elisha McCallion said: “There was simply no better place to be over the weekend and the atmosphere in the city was electric from start to finish. Bars, hotels, restaurants, theatres and shopping centres were packed to the rafters over the course of the five day event.
“It’s been fantastic to see so many visitors flocking to the city to soak up the Jazz Festival’s distinctive atmosphere and hospitality together with the Jazz enthusiasts from our own city and district.
