Start spring on a high note
For a feast of exciting stories, big spectacles and great music, why not try an opera performance? ‘Quicksilver Flute Ensemble & NI Opera’s Young Artists will perform an evening of popular classical music, setting the scene of well-known operatic pieces at the Courtyard Theatre on Tuesday, April 9.
On a different note, NI Opera will bring its new one-act opera ‘The Bear’ to Theatre at The Mill on Thursday, March 21. Bringing together death, infidelity, a duel and passionate love, this witty and heart-warming story is complimented by William Walton’s fast-paced fizzling score and a selection of songs by jazz legend George Shearing.
