Community spirit at Randalstown YFC
Randalstown Festival week took place in June with the YFC members taking the opportunity of hosting a tug-of-war competition which gave teams from the community the chance to pull against the Randasltown members.
This competition provided entertainment for local residents who showed up in order to support those taking part. The festival week was rounded off by the annual parade through the tow and Randalstown YFC members all helped out in making a float for this occasion, dressing up as animals from this year’s Arts Festival performance and entertaining the crowds.

Randalstown YFC joined up with Ahoghill YFC for practices and put to practice the YFC theme for the year “Know your neighbour”.
All members thoroughly enjoyed these practices and were able to take away lots of tips for the competition.
Competition spirit continued as members took part in the John Bradley Challenge at Portrush East Strand.
