Ballymoney RBL Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service recognised
Ballymoney RBL received the honour for its commitment to supporting ex-service personnel and the local community in the Ballymoney area, helping to prevent social isolation and promoting cross-community integration.
Alderman Mark Fielding met with representatives recently to present the token of congratulations.

Hide AdHe said: “The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest official award of its kind in the UK and it is a testament to the Branch’s commitment to helping others.
“2021 marks the centenary of the Royal British Legion so I was pleased to have this opportunity to recognise its members and volunteers during this significant year in its history.”
John Pinkerton and the Lord-Lieutenant for County Antrim Mr David McCorkell are pictured at Ballymoney War Memorial with representatives of Ballymoney Royal British Legion where the special presentation took place.
Also recognised was Bobbie Davis who received a certificate of recognition for his commitment to the Poppy Appeal.
