Banbridge pupils take flight on the Air Power visit
The trip involved some 155 pupils and was organised by the volunteers from the Ulster Aviation Society, including illustrious past pupil Mr Ernie Cromie.
Mr Cromie led a team of eight enthusiasts as the pupils all enjoyed a two hour tutor lead tour of many famous aircraft, including rotary and fast jets such as the Wessex, Puma, Phantom and Buccaneer. Unlike other Air Museums across the mainland, the UAS has a unique perspective by allowing the pupils to engage with the aircraft and get up close and inside the cockpit.

A good day of STEM active learning alongside the UAS!
