More than 200 new business started
End of year results from Invest NI show higher levels of investment with almost £66 million invested by companies, such as the Wright Group, an increase of 37 per cent on the year before.
This investment helped to promote 583 new jobs.
The figures also should strong entrepreneurial activity throughout the new council area with 201 new businesses started by local people in 2013/14.19 per cent of the total new jobs promoted were supported by the Regional Start Initiative.

The strategic focus on promoting enterprise is also providing tangible benefits particularly in terms of employment opportunities throughout the area.”
