firmus planning £5m investment in Antrim and Newtownabbey
Following consultation with stakeholders and elected representatives, the company has submitted an ambitious five-year plan to the Utility Regulator, for the period 2017 to 2022.
“If approved, this would see the company invest a further £60million developing its network over this period, making natural gas available to a further 100,000 properties. 8,912 of these potential connections would be in the Antrim and Newtownabbey Council area, with 89km of pipes planned to be laid at an investment of £5million,” a firmus spokesperson explained.
