Local singers take part in bird song project
‘Bird Song’ is a research and performance project for older traditional singers. There are 15 traditional sing circles, from Wexford to Londonderry, participating by hosting their own bird song night.
It is estimated that over 300 songs in relation to birds will be sung across the country in May.
