A former pupil of Foyle College is returning to his alma mater to stage a charity concert in aid of Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke (NICHS).

Steven McFaul, who is now studying in Belfast to become a teacher, said he had been a supporter of the work of NICHS for the past seven to eight years, having lost three family members to illness: His grandmother, Ena McFaul had a heart problem, while his grandfather, Ernest McFaul, had an illness related to his lungs, while his uncle died in his 60s having suffered a heart attack.

“The reason I wanted to do a concert is because I have always been a big fan of music,” said Steven. “And the second reason I went with a charity concert is that over the last seven to eight years I have lost three family members.
